    1.What is Stationary Chiller ?
    Stationary chiller refers to any chiller that does not include a pump or tank. The main component is a self-contained chiller that must be piped to a pump and a separate reservoir to function. The system usually has separate controls for the chiller and pump or pumps, with electrical connections for each component. Ideally the controls should be wired together to prevent the chiller from cooling down until the circulation pump is running. 
    We offer stationary chillers including sizes cooling capacity ranging from 10 ton to 200 ton are available in stationary air-cooled chiller and stationary water-cooled chiller.

        ▪ Air cooled chillers require less maintenance than water-cooled units.

    than dry surfaces.

    4.What are Differences Between Stationary Chiller and Portable Chiller ?

    The main difference between stationary chiller and portable chiller is that :
    Stationary chiller does not include a pump or tank inside , which need buffer water tank and water pump outside;
    Portable chiller combines all necessary components including – the refrigeration circuit, full diagnostic touch screen controllers and electrics, process pump ,a reservoir tank,which is easily to install.

    5.1 Compressor
    The compressor is the key mover in Stationary Water Cooled Chiller because it produces pressure variations to stir the refrigerant around.

    The evaporator is a crucial component of  stationaty water cooled chiller, as it is responsible for extracting heat from the liquid being cooled,it is located between the compressor and the expansion valve. Water CooledScrew Chiller Uses highly efficient closed loop shell and tube type heat exchanger as the evaporator.

    The condenser for stationary water cooled chiller is water-cooed type shell and tube for high heat exchange efficiency and good stability.Its function is to cool down the refrigerant steam released from the compressor into a liquid or gas-liquid mixture.

    6. How I Can Choose the Right Stationery Chiller?

    There are four important chiller specifications you need consider when you choose a chiller for your application :the cooling capacity for chiller ,the voltage required for operation, the associated pump horsepower and flow rate (contact us for custom selection), refrigerant, and the evaporator type.

    6.1 Calculate Right Cooling Capacity For Chillrs
    One of the most frequently ask about how we can know the cooling capacity for chillers. Let’s see the below formula.

    Cooling Capacity(kw)= Flow Rate(m3/h)*Temp Change(T1-T2)/0.86
    Heat Load= C(specific heat)* M(quality output per hour )*Temp Change(T1-T2)
    Oversize the chiller by 20% Ideal Size in KW = KW x 1.2
    Noted : T1:Incoming Water Temperature (℃)      T2:Required Chilled Water Temperature(℃)    
        
    For example, what size of chiller is required to cool 5m³ water from 25°c to 15 °c in 1 hour?
    Temperature Differential = 25℃-15℃=10℃
    Water Flow Rate = 5 m³/hour
    Cooling Capacity in KW = 5 x 10 ÷ 0.86 = 58,14 KW
    Oversize the chiller = 58.14 x 1.2 = 69.76 KW
    69.96kw cooling capacity for chiller is required.

    6.2 Power

    Different countries and regions have different standards for industrial electricity, the common power supplies are 208-230V, 380-420V,440-480V,50Hz or 60Hz, 3phase.

    Such in Philippines ,the power supply is 220V 60HZ 3PH , 380V 60HZ 3PH ,460V 60HZ 3PH;

    in Singapore and Malaysia ,the power supply is 415V 50HZ 3PH;

    in Mexico ,the power supply is 220V 60HZ 3PH;

    In USA ,the power supply is 208V 60HZ 3PH;575V 60HZ 3PH;480V 60HZ 3PH and so on

    6.3 Water Pump

    When you decide the capacity/tonnage of the chiller, we will recommend you the suitable pump in KW,which standard water pump is about 2 bar .If you need more high water pressure , please us when you inquiry.

    6.4 Refrigerant

    R22, R407C, R404A, R134A are optional choices.

    R22: good cooling effect, but R22 is considered a powerful greenhouse gas, so it’s forbidden in most countries.

    R407C: a good replacement for R22, good cooling effect.

    R404A: suitable for application that requires low temperature(below -10°c).

    R134A: a non-flammable gas used primarily as a “high-temperature” refrigerant, suitable for air-cooled chiller working at a high ambient temperature above 50℃.

    6.5 Evaporator Choose

    Air cooled screw chiller generally uses one evaporators: just is shell and tube heat exchanger.(See Above 2.2)

    6.6 Buffer Water Tank Capacity Choose

    Buffer tank’s capacity can be customized according to specific needs. It can buffer a larger heat load, store more chilled water .

    7.How Choose Water Cooling Tower For Your Stationery Water Cooled Chiller?

    There are three important temperature factors you need to consider when choosing a cooling tower for water cooled screw chiller: inlet hot water temperature, outlet cold water temperature, and wet bulb temperature. The hot water temperature is that which enters the tower. The cold water temperature is that which leaves the water while the wet bulb temperature refers to the prevailing temperature of the geographic region where the tower is located.

    Approach is the term used to refer to the difference between the temperatures of the water source as it enters the tower versus the temperature of the water once it has left the tower. This is a crucial determiner of the effective of the heat exchange process.

    To choose the right cooling tower, mechanical efficiency should be given priority. This refers to the amount of fan power needed to circulate ambient air within the cooling tower. The range – or the difference in temperature between hot and cold water – is also crucial as it will impact energy usage.

    3.Types of chiller system?
    There are two types of chiller :Air Cooled Screw Chiller and Water Cooled Screw Chiller.
    Water cooled chiller needs a separated water cooling tower and water cooling pump ,if you don‘t have exsiting water cooling tower,we suggest you use air cooled chiller; But if your ambiemt temperature is very high above 55℃ ,we suggest you use water cooled chiller , as it is easier to dissipate heat for water cooled chiller with water cooling tower.
